The scanner no longer works

This error often occurs when Windows can no longer find the scanner.

Solution approaches:

1. Ensure that the scanner cable is connected to the computer.
2. Make sure that the scanner's power supply unit is plugged in. Make sure that the power supply unit is also the power supply unit that belongs to the scanner.
3. Disconnect the scanner from the power supply or switch it off and on again.
4. Restart the computer

General advice:

• Deactivate selective USB saving
• Disconnect the computer and scanner from the power supply overnight/switch off the devices in the evening
