The supplements are stored once with the normal cash register prices: 08....zzf (co-payment-free) and then again with individually adjustable prices. In this way, the zzf supplements can be added for co-payment-free insoles and the normal supplements for higher-quality insoles (these usually include an economic surcharge)

Error description

You have done a scan with GP TrittScan or GP FussScan, but the GP Manager does not show a picture.

Error cause

The most common reason for this are the scanner settings. In the GP TrittScan module this might be due to artifacts which get recognised.

Solution

If this happens in GP TrittScan you might need to use the "Limitation" tool to the right. Afterwards try to change the threshold value in the grey area. If this does not help continue below.

Make sure you have the right settings configured in the scanner driver. Follow the steps in: "How to set up your Microtek scanner for optimal measurement" from. If you are using GP TrittScan you can altough read: "How can I scan a tread foam with a 2D scanner?„.

Error description

When trying to create a scan an error with the message "Code1" is shown.

Error Cause

This error indicates that the 3D laser scanner f is broken.

Solution

  • Please try to use the scanner on another computer, to check if this PC produces the same error. The PC should at least have a Core i5 or better CPU.
  • If the error happens here altough contact the GeBioM mbH support.

Error description

The 3D measurement with the GP Manager fails. An error with the message that the scanner could not be initialised.

If you try to use the LSR software, the software won't start.

Error cause

This error occurs, of there is although a bluetooth device connected to the pc (for example MultiSens bluetooth) and the LSR software version is 2.5.5 or older.

Solution

  • Download the latest driver of the 3D Scanner from our homepage:

  • If you want to use a MultiSens bluetooth pressure measurement plate, start the GP Manager afterwards and create a scan. The GP Manager should assign a COM port to the device.
  • Afterwards the 3D scanner should be working. If this did not help contact the GeBioM mbH Support.

Error description

Windows 7 searches for updates, but it does not find any. The windows update wizard states, it has never updated.

Error cause

This is an error of windows, which leads to windows searching updates for hours, but not finding any.

Solution

Windows will only be able to update itself, after installing the update KB3102810.
To install the update do the following:

  1. Download the patch from Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/de-DE/download/details.aspx?id=49540
  2. You will have to stop the "Windows Update Server" on your machine. To do this first run cmd.exe as "Administrator".
    1. Chose start at the bottom left corner of the taskbar.
    2. Type "cmd" without the quotation marks.
    3. Do a right click on the program called "Command prompt" and choose "Run as administrator
    4. Type the following command "net stop wuauserv" (without quotation marks) and confirm by pressing the enter key.
  3. Run the update which you have downloaded.
  4. After the update was installed, reboot your pc. Use the windows update wizard to search for updates. Windows should now be able to find updates.

Error description

The GP Manager starts and shows the list with milling jobs. Afterwards it crashes immediately.

Error Cause

The GP Manager does not delete milling jobs automatically. In case of too many entries the GP Manager is not able to create the list and crashes.

Solution

Rename the folder with the completed milling jobs and create a new folder.

The default folder can be found as follows:

  1. Do a right click onto the link you use to start the GP Manager. Choose "Open file location" from the menu
  2. Navigate to the folder: .\GpData\Fraese\Inlays
  3. Rename the "Done" folder.
  4. Create a new "Done" folder

Try to remember to keep track of your "Completed jobs" inside the GP Manager and delete the ones you don't need anymore.

Error description

You would like to make a backup of your milling machines.

Error cause

You want to make a backup only of the CNC remote settings. Or you would like to make a fresh install of the operating system on the computer of the milling machine.

Solution

  1. Search the path to the CNC remot program. The default path is C:\CNCWorkbench.
  2. Open the Bin folder
  3. Look for a program called CNCwbBackupAssistent.exe inside the Bin Folder
  4. Run the program. You need to have an administrator account
  5. Choose "Further
  6. Make sure to select "Saving the control configuration" and choose "Further
  7. Chose a folder where the data will be saved
  8. Check again the selected options and click on "Start" to begin the backup
  9. After clicking on "Finish" the programme closes itself
  10. Check if there is a backup at your chosen folder called "CNCworkbench_DD.MM.YYYY_SS_MM" (the numbers are the date and time of the backup.)

Restoring the settings

  1. If you want to restore the data, simply start the program again.
  2. Chose "Restoring the control configuration" this time and point the program to the folder where you have saved the data.

Error description

You want to secure the milling machine.

Causes of errors

A backup of the milling machine is to be created, or you would like to reinstall the operating system of the milling machine.

Troubleshooting

  1. Search for the path to the CNC Remote programme. The programme is usually located under: C:\CNCWorkbench
  2. Open the bin folder
  3. The programme CNCwbBackupAssistent.exe is located in this folder
  4. Run the programme, you need administrator rights for this.
  5. Select "Further
  6. Make sure that "Saving the control configuration" is selected and click on "Further
  7. Specify a location to save the data.
  8. Check the entries once again and select "Start" to begin the backup.
  9. After clicking on "Finish", the programme closes.
  10. Check whether a folder "CNCworkbench_DD.MM.YYYY_SS_MM" was created (the numbers are the date and time of the backup)

Restore the data

  1. After you have reinstalled the router, you can restore the data using the same programme.
  2. This time choose "Restoring the control configuration" and enter the folder in which the programme can find the backup.

Error cause

This error occurs, if in the BIOS the UEFI option is activated. In this case the PC sometimes boots to the EFI shell.

Solution

Start the BIOS while booting your PC.

  1. Turn on the PC of the milling machine
  2. While booting you are able to choose to open the BIOS. On most PCs this is done by pressing the "DEL" key on your keyboard. This key is located at the top right of your enter key.
  3. You should see the BIOS of your PC.
  4. Chose "Boat options
  5. Look for an option called "UEFI". Switch the value to "Normal„.
  6. Save your changes and reboot the PC

You should not see the EFI shell anymore. If the error still occurs contact the GeBioM mbH Support.

Error

A fuse inside the System-Module iSM10 is blown.

Error cause

Fuses blow in cases of defect electrical circuits or in cases when the current carried exceeds the rated value for an excessive time.

Solution

Check for blown fuses inside the iSM10 module. If you find a blown fuse replace it with a new fuse. How to locate the fuses is shown in the video below.
