Error description

When attempting to mill, the error message "Please switch on the power amplifiers" appears. This error occurs even though you have already switched on the power amplifiers.

Causes of errors

The error occurs both if the CNC Remote software is not set correctly and if the output stage is defective.

Troubleshooting

Please contact GeBioM mbH support. If it is a hardware defect, you will find a description below of how to replace the output stage on milling machines with CAN bus.

You can recognise whether your milling machine uses a CAN bus on the milling computer by the smiley at the bottom right of the task bar (you may have to click on the small arrow to see the symbol).

Before changing the power amplifier, please contact our support team again. The old power amplifier contains data that must be transferred to the new power amplifier.

Changing the output stages for milling machines with a CAN bus is described in the Quick Start Guide XXX.

A microfuse in the iSM10 system module is defective and you would like to replace it.

Causes of errors

Fuses blow if there are strong fluctuations in the power supply or if an electronic component is defective.

Troubleshooting

Check whether the fuses in the module are still OK. If not, replace the defective fuses. You can find out how to find the fuses in the video below.

Causes of errors

The error occurs if the UEFI option is activated in the BIOS. In this case, in some cases the EFI shell is called up during PC startup.

Troubleshooting

Start the BIOS while the PC is booting.

  1. Switch on the computer of the milling machine.
  2. For most milling machines, you must press the "Unf" key. This is located on the keyboard to the right of the Enter/Down key.
  3. This takes you to the BIOS of the milling computer.
  4. Select "Boat options
  5. There should be an option "UEFI". Change this value to "Normal„.
  6. Save the changes and restart the computer.

The error should no longer occur. If the error still occurs, please contact GeBioM mbH Support.

The Visual Studio Redistributable 2015 cannot be installed on some computers.

Causes of errors

One reason why the Visual Studio Redistributable 2015 cannot be installed is that a required update fails.

Troubleshooting

If the Visual Studio Redistributable 2015 cannot be installed, make sure that your Windows is up to date.

If your system is up to date and the Vcredist 2015 package still cannot be installed, please follow these steps:

  1. Download file:
    [wpfilebase tag=file id=4914 /]
  2. Unzip the DLL files into the GpSystem subfolder of the GP Manager installation ("How to find your GP Manager installation").

Error description

The GP Manager still displays the current milling jobs. However, it then crashes immediately.

Causes of errors

The GP Manager does not automatically delete old milling jobs. If there are too many completed jobs, the GP Manager can no longer create the list of completed milling jobs and crashes.

Troubleshooting

Rename the directory with the completed milling jobs and create a new directory.

You can find the standard directory as follows:

  1. Make a Right click on the GP Manager link and select "Open file path
  2. Open the folder .\GpData\Fraese\Inlays
  3. Name the folder Done um.
  4. Create a new folder with the name Done

In future, select the "Completed orders" and delete orders that are no longer required.

Windows 7 embedded checks for updates, but never finds an update.

Cause of error

This is a Windows error that causes the search for updates to take several hours and yet no updates are found.

Troubleshooting

In order for Windows to find updates, the update KB3102810 can be installed. To do this, proceed as follows:

  1. Download the update from Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/de-DE/download/details.aspx?id=49540
  2. Stop the Windows Update Server on your computer. To do this, start a command prompt as administrator
    1. Select Start at the bottom left of the taskbar
    2. Enter "cmd" without inverted commas.
    3. Right-click on the programme with the name "Command prompt" and select "Run as administrator
    4. Enter the following command "net stop wuauserv" (without inverted commas) and confirm with the Enter key.
  3. Execute the update and restart the computer.
  4. Search for Windows Updates. The computer should now be able to install the updates.

Error description

The attempt to create a 3D measurement with the GP Manager fails. The error is displayed that the 3D laser scanner F cannot be initialised.

If you try to use the scanner with the LSR software, the LSR software will not start.

Causes of errors

This error occurs if a Bluetooth device is connected in addition to the 3D scanner (e.g. MultiSens Bluetooth) and the LSR software is older than version 2.5.5.

Troubleshooting

  • Download and install the latest driver for the 3D scanner from our homepage:
  • [wpfilebase tag=browser id=122 /]
  • If you are using a MultiSens Bluetooth pressure measuring plate, start the GP Manager and take a pressure measurement. The GP Manager should now assign a COM port to the pressure measuring plate.
  • The 3D scan should then work again. If this does not help, please contact GeBioM mbH Support.

Error description

When trying to create a 3D scan, the error code "Code1" appears.

Causes of errors

The error indicates a defective 3D laser scanner F.

Troubleshooting

  • Try whether the scanner also outputs the error on a faster computer. The computer should be at least an Intel Core i5 or better.
  • If the error still occurs, the scanner is most likely defective. In this case, please contact GeBioM mbH Support.

Error description

A scan has been carried out with TrittScan or FußScan. However, no image appears in the GP Manager.

Causes of errors

This is often due to incorrect settings in the scanner driver. With TrittScan it can also happen that the "Limit" function must first be used or that the threshold value must first be changed.

Troubleshooting

Select the correct settings for your scanner. Follow the steps under "How to set up your Microtek scanner for optimal measurement" button. For TrittScan, follow the steps under "How can I scan a tread foam with a 2D scanner?" from

The insole/lasts are displayed in white in InsoleCAD/OptiCAD. Or you would like to adjust the colours in the InsoleCAD/OptiCAD display.

Cause of error

The settings have been changed or do not meet your requirements.

Troubleshooting

If you are using version 6.5:

  1. Start the GP Manager
  2. Select any customer
  3. Start the GP CAD module via the menu ("Analysis" -> "GP CAD")
  4. Then select "Extras" -> "Parameter ...
  5. You can change the colour values here. If you select "Standard" the default value is restored
  6. In order for the values to be permanently adopted, you must click on the "-> INI" use!
  7. If this does not help either, select "Extended" -> "Standard
