- With these milling machines, the measured zero point is entered directly in the GP Manager. In contrast to the GP M302 and GP M303, the value is not set to -100! If the value is set to -100, your milling machine may mill into the table!
- Set the zero point in the GP Manager to the value displayed in the GP Manager.
- Only for milling machines of the type GP M302 and GP M303 a fixed zero point of -100 must be entered in the GP Manager!!! The zero point is determined differently for all other milling machines.
Never set this value for other milling machines. This can cause your router to mill into the table! - This value is deducted in the remote programme. In the example of the video: -278.36 -(-100) = -178.3
Error description
The remote programme displays the error message "Communication error no. 4 Timout when receiving a character".
Causes of errors
The error occurs if the programme cannot establish a connection to the milling machine.
Troubleshooting
The error often occurs because the remote programme has already been started. In this case, the second instance of the programme cannot access the milling machine.
- Make sure that the remote programme is only started once.
- Ensure that the milling machine is switched on.
- Ensure that the COM cable is connected to the router and the computer.

Cause of error
This error can have several causes. Sometimes a second rubber mat is placed in the tiller.

The error occurs if the distance between the milling object and the tool has changed.
Troubleshooting
Check:
- whether there is something under the milled object, for example a 2nd rubber mat.
- whether you have replaced the tool but have not recalibrated the zero point.
- whether you have created a new milling file after you have recalibrated the zero point.

Error description
Windows does not recognise the USB pressure measuring plate, so pressure measurement with the GP Manager is not possible.
Cause of error
It may either be that the driver for the pressure measuring plate is not installed or that there is an error in the hardware. If you have an MS4 USB pressure plate, another source of error is that the ceDeviceDetectionService has not been started.
Troubleshooting
Check whether the correct Power supply unit is connected. Also check the USB cable. Also pay attention to possible Damage of the cables. Check both cables to ensure that the plugs are inserted correctly. Have you ensured that the cables are correctly connected and visually OK?
Next, check whether the pressure measuring plate is correctly installed under Windows.
To install the driver for your pressure measuring plate

To find out how many bits your operating system supports
- Select Start
- Right-click on "Computer" and select "Properties„.
- Check how many bits your operating system has. Make a note of this value (32 bit or 64 bit)
Make a note of the path of your GP Manager installation and the type of your pressure measuring plate
- If you do not know where your GP Manager is installed, follow the steps under "How to find your GP Manager installation", make a note of the path.
- Have a look, which pressure measuring plate you use.

Check whether there is any uninstalled hardware in the device manager
- Select Start
- Right-click on "Computer" and select "Manage“
- Start the "Device Manager", if a device appears here that has an invalid driver, it is probably the pressure measuring plate. You can recognise these devices by an exclamation mark.
- Right-click on the device and select "Properties". Activate the tab "Drivers„
- Click on "Update driver" and select "Search for driver software on the computer". Depending on the operating system and the pressure measuring plate, enter the following paths.Note:
