When the soles are used for the first time, the calibration files are automatically read in by the GP Manager and saved locally on your PC. The calibration files are either located directly on the sole or on the Internet. When you connect new soles for the first time or receive the old soles back from calibration, you should take the time to connect all soles once at the beginning so that all calibration files are downloaded and you can then also work offline.

If you have sent in a Bluetooth system for calibration, you can then download your new calibration files from our Download area download.

Please search for your customer number under "Calibration files" and download your calibration files

If you have purchased a new pressure measuring plate or your plate has been recalibrated, you can download your new calibration files from the support page in the Download area download.

Search for your customer number under "Calibration files" and download your calibration files.

Error description

If you start a pressure measurement in MobilData by clicking on "Measure", the GP Manager crashes.

Cause of error

The graphics card driver is not up to date.

Troubleshooting

  • Open the PC's Device Manager. Click on the Windows icon at the bottom left. The start menu opens. Type with the keyboard (without the inverted commas): "devmgmt.msc".
  • The Device Manager should be displayed. Please start it.
  • Click on the > in front of the graphics cards item.
  • right-click on the relevant graphics card and select "Update driver".
  • If several graphics cards are activated, please carry out the above point for all graphics cards.
  • Now restart the PC and then try to carry out a measurement again.

If the problem persists, please contact GeBioM mbH Support.

Depending on the version of the PC, the path in the "Drive:\Recovery\setup.bat" must be adjusted. D: or E: are the normal cases.

The PC's hard drive should contain a maximum of 2 partitions.

"Hidden" partitions, such as those created during a normal Windows installation, should be removed in advance. Otherwise, the recovery stick may attempt to install the image in these small partitions. As these partitions are only ~100 MB in size, the setup is cancelled (error message in the log: There is not enough memory available).

If the scanner takes a very long time after clicking on scan, this may be due to the following reasons:

The scanner remains connected to the power supply at all times.
Solution: disconnect the scanner from the power supply overnight and only switch it on after the computer has started up

The USB cable is too long.
Solution: From 1.50 m, an active USB extension should be used.

Problems with the USB port or with the USB controller.
Solution: Try a different USB port.

The wrong power supply unit is being used.
Solution: The scanner can only generate the required luminosity with the power supply unit supplied.

The wrong driver is being used.
Solution: Install the latest manufacturer drivers or try the Wia driver.

If no solution fits, please try the scanner on another computer.

If this still does not work, please contact our support by telephone.

Error description

If a user without administrator rights starts the GP Manager, the connection is slow. The GP Manager may take several minutes to search. If the user is logged in as an administrator or domain administrator, the GP Manager responds normally quickly.

Cause of error

Windows 10 caches files from the network. Unfortunately, it seems that in some configurations the permissions for the file location are not set correctly. This can be traced if you use the Process Monitor from Microsoft and monitor the GpManager.exe process (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/procmon).

Troubleshooting

The easiest way is to deactivate the cache for network shares in the registry. Here is a summary and a link to the article from Microsoft:

In the registry you can create three DWORD values under the path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lanmanworkstation\Parameters

According to the article, these should be deactivated in the following order in the event of problems:

  1. Directory cache, by setting DirectoryCacheLifetime to ZERO.
  2. File Not Found cache, by setting FileNotFoundCacheLifetime to ZERO.
  3. File information cache, by setting FileInfoCacheLifetime to ZERO.

A patch for the registration can be downloaded here: Windows slow-search registry file.zip

So that not everything outside the outline is cut off, we display the image transparently one centimetre around the line.

Dear customers,

So that we can help you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if the following information is available before you contact us.

  1. Ensure that affected computers are connected to the Internet.
  2. Download AnyDesk from the AnyDesk homepage: You will find a link at the top right of this page. Start AnyDesk. When our support team contacts you, they will need your AnyDesk address. If the computer has problems with the network connection, the address is 0. In this case, please check the network connection.
  3. Support is often not possible if there are no administrator rights on the computer. If your user does not have administrator rights, make sure that your administrator can be reached.
  4. If you have an error that does not always occur, take a screenshot of the error message or a photo/video with your smartphone.
If there is no error message, ideally leave the computer in the state in which the error occurs.
  5. Please ensure that you have concluded an AV contract with us.

To enquire about a support flat rate, please contact our sales department.
