Why does the 3D laser scanner not recognise the impact foam correctly?

If the scan of a footfall foam leads to a poor result, the following reasons could play a role:

1. The impact foam is simply too bad
2. The tread foam is blue

Solution:

1. Please make a new step foam or try to make the existing one usable.
2. Please use a pink step foam (these are easily recognised)
