Deactivate Windows 8 driver signature

Windows 8 does not allow unsigned drivers to be installed without further ado. To install an unsigned driver, you must start Windows with the driver signature deactivated.

1. Move the mouse to the bottom right-hand corner. Click on "Settings" in the charm
2. Click on Switch on/off in the settings charm.
3. Click on "Restart" while pressing the shift key
4. In the following menu, select "Troubleshooting" -> "Advanced options" -> "Startup settings" -> "Restart"
5. The computer will now restart, a selection menu will appear during startup, press button 7 to select "Deactivate driver signature".
6. The computer now starts with the driver signature deactivated. This means that unsigned drivers can be installed until the next restart.
