After replacing the output stages, start the milling computer.

  • Select "Start" -> "Programmes" -> "AC Setup C269" (sometimes also ISEL Germany AG) -> "ACSETUP C269
  • At the top of the menu, select "File" -> "Open" -> mostly D:\Backup\cncWorkbench...\Control\CAN\DCF-Files to select the relevant DCF file.
  • Now go to Connection -> CAN settings

  • In the following menu, pay attention to the correct CAN node indicate!
    • 1 for X-axis
    • 2 for Y-axis
  • Select the DLL for CAN communication: C:\CNCWorkbench\Control\CAN\CAN_API.dll
  • Confirm with OK

  • If no message appears, you can exit online mode and close the programme. The question about saving is answered in the negative.

Data specific to the milling machine is stored on the output stage. This data may need to be transferred between the old and new output stage. If you are not sure whether this is necessary, please ask GeBioM mbH Support.

If you have set the DIP switches correctly and the data has been transferred, you can swap the output stages in the control cabinet 1 to 1.

Before replacing the output stage, set the appropriate address for the output stages. The position of the switches for the two axes can be seen in the pictures below.

In case you are interested: The address is entered via the DIP switches in the binary system (switches 1-5 correspond to 2⁰ to 2⁴, in the example below this results in 1*2⁰ + 1*2⁴ = 17).
