In order for the measurement data to be evaluated correctly, the points to be analysed must be marked before the measurement process. The automated evaluation expects six markings at the following points:

Before switching the amplifiers you will have to set the right CAN address. In the images below you can see the right settings for the axes.

If you would like to know how the number is calculated. The address is set in the binary system. Each DIP switch stands for a power of 2 (the DIP switches 1-5 equal 2⁰ to 2⁴, in the example below this equates to 1*2⁰ + 1*2⁴ = 17).

Some milling machine specific data is stored on the amplifier. If you have to replace an amplifier you must make sure to transfer this data to the new amplifier. If you are not sure about this procedure ask the GeBioM mbH support.

If you have set the DIP switches to the right settings you can replace the amplifier from the control enclosure.

After you have replaced the amplifier, boot the computer of the CNC milling machine.

  • Choose "Start" -> "Programmes" -> "AC Setup C269" (on some machines it's called "ISEL Germany AG") -> "ACSETUP C269
  • In the program choose "File" -> "Open" -> the default path is D:\Backup\cncWorkbench...\Control\CAN\DCF-Files chose the DCF file you created.
  • Now open Connection -> CAN settings
  • In the following menu make sure to set the right CAN node!
    • 1 for the X-axis
    • 2 for the Y-axis
  • Choose the C:\CNCWorkbench\Control\CAN\CAN_API.dll for the CAN communication.
  • Confirm with OK
  • Afterwards chose "Connection" -> "Online fashion" (or click on the satellite dish symbol).
  • In the following dialogue choose the pc to card symbol.
  • If there is no message, you can exit the online mode and close the programme. If there is a dialgue asking to save the changes choose "no".

If you have selected the "Outbox" view, you will see all the emails in your outbox.

You can recognise emails that have already been sent by the fact that they appear in the "Dispatched on" have a date entered (Figure 16, green frame). Emails that have not yet been sent do not have a dispatch date (Figure 16, red frame).

Note:
Due to a programme error, emails can be sent but the GP Manager crashes. If several emails are marked for sending, only the first marked email is sent. If an email is marked as not sent, it will be sent, but will still not have a send date after the GP Manager is restarted.

By using the "calculate" function a colour graduation scale is automatically created, i.e. after defining a starting and an ending colour the graduation is calculated and inserted by the program. To do so, define the starting and ending colour as described in the "colours" section. Afterwards, first click on the starting colour and then while holding down the CTRL-key on the ending colour. All colour squares between those marked by a box will be filled with a calculated colour, click on the "calculate" button. The intermediate colours are now automatically calculated.

Attention:

If you use the transmitter for several weeks Do not use, Please charge the battery first. Otherwise a deep discharge may occur. This is harmful to a lithium-ion battery! To prevent damage to the battery during longer storage periods Check the charge status of the batteries every 4-6 weeks to avoid deep discharge of the batteries.

To extend the service life, the batteries should be not over a longer period of time be exposed to high temperatures. Make sure that you store the batteries at temperatures below 30 °C store.

2.1 Firstly, please charge the two MODA WiFi transmitters (1). To do this, connect them to the USB port of your computer using the enclosed charging cable (3). During the first charging process, it is important that the computer is connected to the Internet so that Windows can download a corresponding driver. The transmitter is being charged when the LED (10) lights up orange and is fully charged when the LED goes out again. A complete charging process takes approx. 3 hours. The battery life of the transmitter is around 8 hours. When the battery is low, the LED (11) lights up red. Alternatively, the transmitters can also be charged using a USB socket adapter, similar to (7).
2.2 Install the GP Manager from the enclosed data carrier.
2.3 The router (4) must be supplied with power during the measurement process. There are two ways of doing this, depending on the area of application. If you mainly use MobilData WiFi within the same premises, it is advantageous to connect the router to a nearby power socket. Use the charging cable (6) and the supplied adapter (7) for this. For mobile applications, you can supply the router with power via the USB port on your computer.
2.4 Data is transferred between the transmitter and computer via WLAN. The WLAN stick turns your computer into a WLAN-capable end device. Please insert the WLAN stick (5) into a free USB port on your computer. The stick will install itself automatically if an Internet connection is available. If your PC already has a WLAN interface because you are using MobilData on a laptop, for example, you can also use the internal WLAN interface on your laptop.
