The platform has a size of 550 mm x 455 mm and a height of 4 mm. On the surface there is a measurement area of about 390 mm x 390 mm. This area contains 2304 resistance sensors, i.e. about 2 sensors per cm2. These sensors are queried with a total sampling rate of 500 kHZ, that is about 100 Hz per sensor, using an internal USB-measurement interface. The data are transmitted by connecting the data conduction to the computer's USB-hub. The power supply is realised using a 12Vadaptor.
