Which scanner do I use?

Two different 3D cameras can be used for the GP KinectScan / GP EasyScan 3D module:

  • GP EasyScan / Kinect
  • GP EasyScan-2 / Orbbec

The main difference between the two cameras is that the Orbbec is only connected to your PC via USB, while the Kinect requires a power connection in addition to the USB connection.

When using the cameras, please always observe our Compatibility list.

Which graphics cards are supported?

To use the EasyScan 3D product, we recommend a desktop PC.

It must be possible to play current games in full resolution on the PC.
